Twiglets #234
A twiglet’s aim is to “prompt” a thought. If something comes to mind, write. A polished piece isn’t the goal; creativity is.
My, how the gods have aged,
white haired yet without wisdom.
It is hard to love old gods,
withered and feeble,
doddering with rage and lust.
Zeus pushing his walker
shuffling after Demeter
losing himself in the tall wheat.
Speak up, Missy; my hearing ain’t what it usta be…

I can clearly see this image. I know of an elder neighbor… who possibly fits the verse 😉

Some elders say (both guys and gals); “I may be old but I’m not buried yet” (or the likes…yikes!)

Hahaha, that’s not a bad thing, I guess. Long as they aren’t creepy about it.
